Further enhanced with 14 cabochon sapphires set into the flower centers. The sapphires are 2.86 mm round approx. Opens to a mirror and powder well and retains a sifter screen.
Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark used from 1838 to 1919, which depicts the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of 950/1000 of 95% pure silver and a higher finesse than. Also bearing maker's mark for Max Boinet, active 1924, whose workshop was located at 100 rue Saint-Lazare and at 7 rue de Surene, Paris. Measures 3" x 3 1/8".
